Description
The Jakarta Centre is commissioning two hand-carved shrine thrones and six chokchi offering tables from the Tibetan carving workshop of Lopsang in Nepal — the taller throne for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the second for Khen Rinpoche, our Chief Abbot.
Every surface is carved and painted by hand: a garuda crown, gold dragon brocade, snow lions and atlas figures around the base, on a three-tier stepped platform. Every price below already includes that piece’s share of the flight from Kathmandu, so nothing is asked for twice. At checkout you can give the names you wish to dedicate — every name is read at the consecration of the thrones and kept on the dedication list beneath them.
